Description

This MCP server retrieves transcripts (plain and timed) and video metadata for specified YouTube URLs. It exposes tools to fetch full transcripts, timed transcripts with timestamps, and video information, and it paginates long transcripts to avoid LLM token limits. The server supports proxy configuration (including Webshare) and configurable response-size limits, and can be installed via uvx, Docker, or integrated with clients like Claude Desktop and LM Studio. Useful for embedding transcripts into agent workflows, summarizers, or search/indexing pipelines.
