Description

This project implements a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server that exposes YouTube Data API functionality so AI assistants (like Claude) can search videos and channels and fetch video/channel details. It provides tools for searching videos and channels, retrieving specific video and channel metadata, and exposing a resource for popular videos. The server is simple to run locally or integrate with Claude Desktop and requires a YouTube API key for access.
