Description

This MCP server uses yt-dlp to fetch YouTube subtitles and plugs those transcripts into Claude.ai through the Model Context Protocol. It enables agents to ask Claude to summarize or analyze the content of a specified YouTube video. Setup requires yt-dlp to be installed locally and the MCP installed via the mcp-installer package name @anaisbetts/mcp-youtube. It's a lightweight connector useful for adding video context to Claude-based workflows.
