Description

This MCP server (yfinance-mcp-server) exposes tools for retrieving current ticker prices and related news articles, enabling LLMs to incorporate accurate market data into their context. It includes two tools: get_price_tool for price queries and get_news_tool for fetching recent articles, and supports installation via Smithery, uv, or Docker. The server is intended for integration with Claude Desktop and other MCP-compatible clients to provide timely financial information to agents and assistants.
