Description

This server wraps Yandex Maps Geocoder and Static APIs to provide three main tools: maps_geocode (address → coordinates), maps_reverse_geocode (coordinates → address), and maps_render (render static PNG maps with optional placemarks). It requires two Yandex API keys (Geocoder/JavaScript and Static API) and is intended to be run alongside an agent platform such as Claude Desktop. The MCP is useful for generating map images, resolving locations, and adding visual location context to agent responses. Note that Yandex Maps Places API has no free tier, which limits automatic organization discovery without external data.
