Description

XiYan MCP Server provides a Model Context Protocol (MCP) interface to query MySQL and PostgreSQL databases by natural language. It integrates the XiYan-SQL text-to-SQL SOTA model (remote or local) and supports general LLMs (e.g., OpenAI, Qwen) and hosted inference services (Modelscope, Dashscope). The server supports both remote (API-key based) and pure-local deployments for higher security, lists database tables as resources, and returns sample table data for model context. It is distributed via pip and can be integrated with MCP-capable clients like Claude Desktop, Goose, Cursor, and others.
