Description

x402-agent-pay is an MCP server and client library that automates payments for AI agents when accessing paid APIs that respond with HTTP 402 Payment Required. It enforces spending policies including per-transaction, daily, and velocity limits, recipient whitelisting/blacklisting, and logs all payment receipts for audit. Built on Coinbase's official @x402/fetch SDK, it integrates with OpenClaw agents and supports multiple networks including Base and Ethereum. The server optionally charges a small protocol fee to support ongoing development but can be disabled.
