Description

This MCP server exposes WHOIS lookup tools so agents can check domain registration details, ownership, name servers, status, and expiry without leaving the chat or IDE. It supports domain, TLD, IP, and ASN queries and is designed to integrate with MCP-capable agents like Cursor, Claude Desktop, and Roo Code. Installation is via npx and it can be added globally or per-project to make WHOIS capabilities available to automated agents. The server simplifies domain research and monitoring workflows by returning structured WHOIS information programmatically.
