Description

This repository is a TypeScript-based MCP server example that implements a simple notes system and can use the OpenWeather API (requires an OPENWEATHER_API_KEY) to demonstrate external data integration. It includes build instructions and an example claude_desktop_config.json entry to run the built index.js with node. The project is useful as a minimal, local MCP server template for learning or prototyping agent integrations with note storage and weather data retrieval. It is light-weight and easy to configure for local development.
