A bridge that exposes VRChat OSC controls to AI assistants via the Model Context Protocol (MCP), enabling programmatic avatar control and in-world interactions.
Control avatar expressions and parameters in VRChat programmatically (e.g., trigger emotes or change facial parameters).
Move or orient an avatar and perform actions like jumping or looking in a given direction in a VRChat instance.
Send chat messages, toggle menu/voice features, or listen to VRChat OSC events to react to in-world events.
VRChat MCP OSC uses OSC to connect VRChat with AI assistants over the Model Context Protocol, allowing agents to control avatar parameters, movement, emotes, and send chat messages. It provides a set of MCP tools (e.g., set_avatar_parameter, move_avatar, send_message) and can run as an MCP server or relay between WebSocket and OSC. The project is intended to make it easy for MCP-enabled agents (like Claude Desktop) to integrate with VRChat for richer, automated VR interactions. It includes command-line configuration options and is buildable with Node.js in a monorepo structure.
