An open-source Model Context Protocol (MCP) server that works with LLMs to generate and scaffold Vizro charts and dashboards.
Generate Vizro charts and dashboards programmatically via an MCP-enabled LLM client (e.g., Cursor, Claude Desktop).
Convert user requirements in natural language into validated Vizro configuration files (Pydantic, JSON, YAML, or Python dicts).
Orchestrate step-by-step creation, templating, and export of production-ready Vizro dashboard components.
Vizro-MCP is an MCP server designed to work alongside large language models to help create Vizro dashboards and charts step-by-step. It provides tools, templates, and orchestration to convert natural-language requests into functioning Vizro configurations (Pydantic models, JSON, YAML or Python dicts). The server is intended to be used with MCP-enabled LLM clients (for example Cursor or Claude Desktop) to accelerate dashboard prototyping and production-ready outputs. It complements the Vizro low-code toolkit and is distributed as part of the open-source Vizro monorepo.
