Description

updsts is a command-line tool and local MCP server that retrieves temporary AWS STS credentials using MFA authentication and reflects them automatically in the AWS credentials file. It supports TOTP-based MFA devices, preserves existing profiles safely, and can be integrated with common Agent tools for automated credential management. This tool enhances security and convenience by managing temporary AWS credentials locally and supporting proxy environments.
