An MCP server that exposes Twilio's public APIs (and arbitrary OpenAPI specs) to AI assistants and tools via the Model Context Protocol.
Access and invoke Twilio APIs (SMS, Voice, Programmable messaging, etc.) via the Model Context Protocol to perform account-specific actions.
Limit exposed surfaces and stay within LLM context limits by loading only selected Twilio services or tags using the --services and --tags options.
Expose custom or third-party APIs to MCP by serving an OpenAPI specification with the openapi-mcp-server package.
This monorepo provides implementations of the Model Context Protocol (MCP) to surface Twilio APIs to AI agents and other MCP‑aware tools. It includes a Twilio-specific MCP package and a generic OpenAPI-based MCP server so you can expose either Twilio services or any OpenAPI spec. The project supports filtering which APIs are exposed (via --services and --tags) to manage LLM context size and includes guidance on authentication and security best practices. It's aimed at integrating Twilio functionality into conversational agents while controlling scope and permissions.
