Description

A JavaScript-based MCP (Model Context Protocol) server that provides standardized tools to search The Movie Database (TMDB), fetch detailed item data, and retrieve trending content. It communicates over stdio so it can be integrated into MCP-compatible clients and supports multi-search, detailed lookups (with append options like credits and images), and trending endpoints. Requires Node.js 18+ and a TMDB proxy bearer token (TMDB_AUTH_TOKEN) for API requests; the project is open-source, tested with Jest, and distributed under the MIT license.
