Description

This open-source MCP server exposes Slack user-level actions (using a User OAuth Token) so agents can list channels, post messages, reply to threads, add reactions, and fetch channel/thread history and user profiles. It is distributed under the MIT License and provides multiple deployment options (local npm, npx, Docker) and easy integration with Claude Desktop and Smithery. The server is useful for automating Slack workflows, enabling conversational agents to act as a Slack user within a workspace while respecting required Slack scopes and workspace installation.
