Description

This project implements a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server for the Slack API, exposing actions such as listing channels, posting messages, replying in threads, adding reactions, and retrieving channel history and user profiles. It includes CLI/docker integrations for running the server and example configuration for Claude Desktop. Setup instructions explain creating a Slack App, required OAuth scopes, installing the app, and configuring a bot token and team ID. The server simplifies automating Slack workflows and integrating Slack access into agent-based applications.
