List workspace channels and fetch user profiles to route messages, mention users, or manage interactions.
This repository provides a standalone MCP server implementation for the Slack API, extracted from the Model Context Protocol servers subtree. It exposes tools to list channels, post messages, reply in threads, add reactions, fetch channel history and thread replies, and retrieve user profiles. It's easy to install and run (npm build/run or via npx) and includes setup guidance for Slack app scopes and tokens. The project is open-source (MIT) and intended to integrate Slack capabilities into agent workflows.
