Description

ShellGuard is an MCP server that enables large language models to securely connect to remote servers via SSH and run a curated set of diagnostic and observation commands. It restricts destructive operations and guides the LLM to self-correct, allowing hands-free diagnostics, log inspection, and troubleshooting. It supports multiple SSH modes, host key verification, and can provision essential diagnostic tools on remote hosts. ShellGuard can be integrated with various MCP clients and used as a Go library for custom setups.
