A curated collection of reference Model Context Protocol (MCP) server implementations that give LLMs secure, controlled access to tools and data sources.
Access and search files, notes, and repositories (e.g., filesystem, Git, Google Drive, Obsidian) to provide context-aware responses.
Query and analyze structured data and analytics (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, BigQuery, Snowflake, ClickHouse) with schema inspection and read/query capabilities.
Fetch and scrape web content or automate browsers and tools (e.g., Fetch, Brave Search, Puppeteer, Playwright, Apify) to enrich responses with live data.
This repository aggregates reference MCP servers implemented with the TypeScript and Python MCP SDKs and demonstrates how MCP can be used to connect LLMs to a wide variety of tools and data (filesystems, databases, web search, browser automation, cloud services, etc.). It includes both official reference servers and a large directory of third‑party/community servers and frameworks, plus usage examples for running servers locally (npx, uvx, pip) and configuring clients like Claude Desktop. Managed by Anthropic and intended as an open, community-driven resource for building, testing, and deploying MCP servers.
