Reddit MCP Buddy is a TypeScript/Node.js MCP server optimized for LLM-based assistants (like Claude Desktop) to interact with Reddit: browse subreddits, search across Reddit, fetch post details and comments, and analyze user profiles. It emphasizes zero-setup usability, clean LLM-friendly responses, intelligent caching, and a proven three-tier authentication system that increases rate limits when you provide Reddit credentials. The project is designed for fast, reliable queries with clear parameters and built-in rate-limit testing tools.

browse_subreddit

Fetch posts from a subreddit sorted by your choice (hot/new/top/rising). Returns post list with content, scores, and metadata.
