An MCP server that exposes the Quran.com REST API v4 as tools for LLM agents to fetch chapters, verses, translations, tafsirs, audio data, and perform searches.

Description

This repository provides a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server generated from the Quran.com OpenAPI specification (v4.json). It exposes many Quran.com endpoints (chapters, verses by chapter/page/juz/hizb, search, translations, tafsirs, audio, languages) as callable tools for agents and integrations such as Claude Desktop. The project includes Docker and Node.js deployment options, environment variable configuration (API_KEY, PORT, VERBOSE_MODE), and verbose logging for debugging. It is intended to simplify programmatic access to the Quran.com corpus for agent workflows and automation.
