Description

Quarry is a local semantic search tool that indexes and searches a wide variety of document formats including PDFs, images, spreadsheets, presentations, source code, and more. It runs as a daemon to efficiently share embedding models across sessions, enabling fast and meaningful retrieval by understanding the content's meaning rather than keywords. Quarry integrates seamlessly with Claude Desktop, Claude Code, and a macOS menu bar app, allowing users to query their knowledge base conversationally or via CLI without relying on cloud services.
