Description

This MCP server links a QGIS plugin to a Python MCP server so Claude (or other MCP-capable agents) can interact with a running QGIS instance. It supports two-way communication for creating, loading, and saving projects, adding/removing vector and raster layers, running processing algorithms, executing arbitrary PyQGIS code, and rendering map images. The integration enables automated geospatial workflows, prompt-driven map creation, and remote-assisted editing and analysis.
