A fork of the JetBrains MCP proxy that forwards MCP requests between clients and a JetBrains IDE while broadcasting WebSocket notifications for real-time monitoring.
Monitor MCP tool calls in real time by receiving WebSocket notifications containing endpoint, arguments, and timestamp data.
Act as a transparent bridge between MCP clients (like Claude Desktop) and a JetBrains IDE, forwarding requests and responses while adding observability.
Integrate IDE tool-call telemetry into external dashboards, logging systems, or automation workflows via a configurable WebSocket feed.
This project is a fork of the JetBrains MCP Server that adds a WebSocket monitoring layer to broadcast all MCP tool calls in real time. It acts as a sidecar that translates and forwards MCP commands between clients (e.g., Claude Desktop) and a JetBrains IDE, while also emitting detailed notifications about endpoints, arguments, and timestamps over WebSocket. The sidecar auto-discovers IDE ports by default, supports configurable host/port and debug logging, and is distributed via npm for easy integration. It’s useful for monitoring, logging, and integrating tooling workflows that rely on the MCP protocol.
