Description

This server implements a Prometheus API interface to list metrics, retrieve metric metadata (help text, type), and provide basic statistical data (count, min, max) in JSON format. It supports basic authentication for secured Prometheus instances and is configured via environment variables (PROMETHEUS_URL, optional PROMETHEUS_USERNAME/PROMETHEUS_PASSWORD). The project is intended to bridge Claude (via MCP) with your Prometheus instance for easy programmatic access and inspection of metrics.
