Description

MCP Prometheus is a Go-based MCP server that wraps the Prometheus HTTP API with 18 read-only tools for querying metrics, discovering series, and accessing alerting and runtime information. It supports OAuth 2.1 authentication backed by Dex/OIDC, enabling secure, multi-tenant access by resolving user tenant IDs and enforcing them on queries. The server is designed for in-cluster deployment, providing AI assistants and other MCP clients with authenticated access to metrics infrastructure with flexible tenancy modes and transport options.
