Description

This project provides a lightweight MCP server using the PlexAPI library to query a Plex Media Server, retrieve movie metadata, list recently added items, and create or modify playlists. It exposes a set of commands (search, get details/genres, list/create/delete playlists, add items, recent movies) suitable for programmatic agents. It's intended for easy integration with Claude via Smithery or direct execution, and includes unit and integration tests to validate behavior against a live Plex server.
