MCP Playwright Test provides an automated server to prepare Playwright test environments, generate test cases from textual requirements or API specs, launch browsers, execute UI and API tests, and produce detailed reports with network and console logs. It supports cloning repositories or using a local code path, integrates with external LLMs (Anthropic) for test-case generation, and can be used inside AI tools like Claude Desktop and Cursor via a .playwright-mcp.json config. This streamlines incorporating automated UI/API testing into AI-assisted developer workflows and CI pipelines.
