Description

pipai is a lightweight CLI for interacting with language models via LiteLLM, sending prompts (including piped command output) and managing conversations and formatting. It supports pre-defined prompt templates, XDG-based configuration, and integration with MCP servers (configured via a local mcp_servers.json) so LLMs can invoke external tools like git or fetch utilities. The tool is useful for developers who want to run LLM-powered tasks from the terminal, combine model responses with local context, and optionally let models perform actions through MCP tool servers.
