PinThePiece is a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server implementing a feature-rich note management system with hierarchical storage, atomic file operations, versioning, integrity checks, and automatic backups. It exposes note resources via a custom note:// URI scheme and provides tools for adding notes and generating summaries. The server emphasizes data safety (file locking, checksums, transactional writes) and logging, making it suitable for reliable programmatic note storage and retrieval.
