Description

This MCP server integrates Perplexity Sonar models to enable agents to perform real-time web searches and return answers with citations, images, and related questions. It supports multiple Sonar variants (sonar, sonar-pro, sonar-reasoning, sonar-deep-research) and rich parameters for controlling search domains, recency, output format, and generation settings. The project works as a Claude Desktop MCP plugin or a standalone HTTP/SSE server and requires a Perplexity API key. It is intended to let agents access current web information during conversations and fine-tune search and response behavior.
