Description

This project implements the Model Context Protocol (MCP) to expose Perplexity-powered research capabilities via a local server. It uses browser automation instead of API keys, offers intelligent web search and summarization, cleans and extracts content (including GitHub repositories), and persists conversations in a local SQLite store. The server is intended for developer tooling such as documentation retrieval, API discovery, and code analysis, and is presented for educational use with stability dependent on Perplexity's website. It is a community/refactor project based on earlier repositories rather than an official Perplexity product.
