Description

This MCP server proxies requests from Claude Desktop to the Perplexity API, allowing Claude to use Perplexity models for both single-question queries and multi-turn conversations. It registers two tools (perplexity_ask and perplexity_chat) with configurable model selection and requires a Perplexity API key. The implementation communicates with Claude via stdio using the Model Context Protocol and returns Perplexity responses for display in Claude. Benefits include seamless integration, multi-turn conversation support, and customizable model choices.
