Description

This server acts as a bridge between MCP-aware agents and the Perplexity AI API, providing standardized tools for quick search queries and exhaustive deep research. It implements two primary tools—perplexity_search for fast, search-augmented lookups and perplexity_deep_research for multi-source investigative reports—while offering configurable recency, domain filters, and reasoning depth. Built with strong type safety, logging, error handling, and configurable authentication (JWT/OAuth), it simplifies integrating Perplexity into agent workflows. The project is based on the mcp-ts-template and emphasizes modularity, validation, and resilience.
