List and inspect Outlook calendar events and attendee statuses within a specified date range on a Windows desktop.
Create or update local Outlook events and meetings (including adding attendees and descriptions) without using external calendar APIs.
Find free time slots and suggest optimal meeting times across one or more Outlook calendars while keeping data local.
This tool exposes a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server that interacts with the local Microsoft Outlook desktop client to list, create, update, and analyze calendar events and meetings. It supports multiple calendars, attendee status checks, finding free time slots, and scheduling assistance, all performed locally on the user's machine. It requires Windows, the Outlook desktop client, Node.js, and VBScript support (noting that VBScript may need to be enabled on some Windows versions). The project is open-source (MIT) and intended to keep calendar data local rather than sending it to external servers.
