Description

OpenTabs reverse-engineers internal APIs of web applications and exposes them as reusable MCP tools that AI agents can call directly through the browser using existing sessions. It consists of an MCP server for tool dispatch and a Chrome extension that bridges to open tabs, enabling fast, deterministic, and token-efficient interactions without DOM scraping or screenshots. The system supports over 100 plugins covering many popular services and includes built-in browser tools, providing a secure, local, and auditable environment for AI-driven automation.
