Description

This MCP server provides programmatic access to the OpenAlex academic index, allowing searches by topic/keyword or by author and retrieval of detailed paper metadata (title, abstract, authors, citations). It is packaged as a Node.js service with simple install, build, and start instructions and includes configuration guidance for use with Claude for Desktop. The server is useful for integrating academic literature search into agent workflows or other tooling that needs quick access to paper metadata.
