A unified AI development platform that combines an MCP client (MCPOmni Connect) with a powerful agent-builder (OmniAgent) to connect to Model Context Protocol servers, register local tools, manage memory, and run autonomous background agents.
Connect to and orchestrate tools across multiple MCP servers (stdio, SSE, streamable HTTP) with support for OAuth and custom headers.
Persistent, multi-tier memory (vector DBs, Redis, SQL/Mongo) and semantic tool retrieval to select relevant tools automatically.
Autonomous background scheduling and lifecycle management (create, pause, resume, monitor) for recurring or long-running tasks.
OmniCoreAgent (formerly mcp_omni-connect) provides both a world-class MCP client and a flexible AI agent framework so developers can connect to MCP servers, register Python functions as callable tools, and orchestrate agent workflows. It includes multi-backend memory (vector DBs, Redis, SQL, MongoDB), semantic tool discovery, an OAuth-capable MCP transport layer, and a background agent manager for scheduled autonomous tasks. The project is distributed under MIT and intended as an extensible, production-ready platform with observability integration (Opik) and examples for FastAPI and web servers.
