A gateway that lets Generative AI systems interact with multiple Kubernetes clusters via the Model Context Protocol (MCP).
Retrieve Kubernetes resources from both the hub cluster and managed clusters via the MCP protocol.
Connect to a managed cluster using a specified ClusterRole to perform role-scoped operations.
Collect and analyze cluster metrics, logs, and alerts to provide observability and troubleshooting insights.
The OCM MCP Server provides a bridge for GenAI agents to access and operate on resources across a hub Kubernetes cluster and its managed clusters using MCP. It supports retrieving resources from both the hub and managed clusters, connecting to managed clusters with a specified ClusterRole, and collecting metrics, logs, and alerts for cluster observability. The server is configured via an npx command, uses the KUBECONFIG environment by default, requires kubectl, and is released under the MIT License.
Retrieves a list of Kubernetes clusters (also known as managed clusters or spoke clusters).
Generates the KUBECONFIG for the managed cluster and binds it to the specified ClusterRole (default: cluster-admin).
Securely run a kubectl command or apply YAML. Provide either 'command' or 'yaml'.
