Description

This project exposes an MCP-compatible server allowing AI agents to directly access and manipulate Obsidian notes and folder structures via the Obsidian Local REST API or a filesystem fallback. It supports reading, creating, updating (including heading- and block-level precision), deleting and moving notes, full-text search, auto-backlink generation, and AI-powered strategic analysis (TRILEMMA-PRINCIPLES). The server includes context optimization, batch processing, dual API strategy for reliability, and multiple deployment options (DXT, npm, local, Docker). It is distributed with MIT license and intended for integration into MCP-enabled agents and workflows.
