Description

This MCP server provides tools to interact with an Obsidian vault through the Obsidian Local REST API plugin, including listing files, reading file contents, searching across notes, patching or appending content, and deleting files. It is designed to let agents automate note management workflows — for example summarizing meeting notes, inserting content under specific headings or frontmatter fields, and creating new notes. The server requires the Obsidian Local REST API plugin and an API key (configurable via environment variables or a server config).
