Description

This Model Context Protocol (MCP) server runs the `npm search` command and returns structured results (name, description, version, author, license). It exposes a single tool, `search_npm_packages`, which agents can call with a query string to discover npm packages. Installation options (npm, uv/uvx, or via Smithery) and integrations for Claude and Zed are provided to make it easy to plug into agent workflows.
