Description

MCP-NixOS exposes searchable, up-to-date NixOS package and configuration data (packages, options, Home Manager and nix-darwin) plus package version history via NixHub. It provides a set of simple async endpoints for searching, retrieving detailed info, and browsing categories so agents don't hallucinate package names or config options. The tool is cross-platform, requires no local Nix install, and is designed to be stateless and easy to integrate with MCP clients.
