An MCP server that exposes structured network knowledge (routing policies, device health) to LLM clients like Claude for Desktop.
Query routing policies and network standards to produce accurate configuration guidance or documentation.
Fetch live device health and status information to triage network incidents.
Integrate structured network context into LLM-driven workflows (e.g., runbooks, troubleshooting, or change planning).
This project provides a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server tailored for network engineers so LLMs can call tools to retrieve network standards and device status. It runs locally (over stdio) and exposes functions such as get_network_standards() and get_device_status(device_name) for integration with Claude for Desktop or other MCP-capable clients. The server lets LLMs provide context-aware, actionable responses based on your actual network configuration and device health.
