Description

This server bridges a NetBox instance and Model Context Protocol (MCP) clients, allowing LLMs to query devices, clusters, VMs, interfaces, VLANs, and IP allocations. It provides a set of tools (e.g., get_all_clusters, get_cluster_virtual_machines, get_cluster_interfaces) to retrieve structured network data and detect NVMe storage in clusters. The project is intended to integrate with Claude Desktop or any MCP-compatible agent to provide live NetBox context to conversational agents. Installation and usage are documented, with options for CLI args or environment variables to supply the NetBox URL and API token.
