Description

mcp-mysql-proxy is a TypeScript/Node.js implementation of an MCP server that exposes MySQL databases to AI tools (Cursor, Claude, Codex, etc.) while enforcing operation permissions and gathering query metrics. It supports SELECT, INSERT, UPDATE, and DELETE with configurable permission flags, provides execution metrics (duration, row count), and aims for production readiness. The project offers zero-config usage via npx and automatic port selection if the configured port is in use.
