Description

This server exposes MongoDB functionality to LLMs via the Model Context Protocol, enabling queries, aggregations, counts, schema inference, and write operations (when not read-only). It includes intelligent ObjectId handling, configurable read-only mode for safe production access, and tools for collection completions and schema-based context enrichment. It is easy to run via CLI, environment variables, or Docker and integrates with agents and frontends like Claude Desktop, Windsurf, and Cursor. Licensed under MIT and distributed via npm/GitHub.
