Description

MetaTrader MCP Server connects AI agents (Claude, ChatGPT via Open WebUI, etc.) to a locally running MetaTrader 5 terminal so agents can read account information, fetch market data, and place or manage orders programmatically. It provides both an MCP server interface for desktop AI integrations and a REST/HTTP API for broader use, plus a Python client library for direct integration. The project emphasizes local credential storage and supports real-time prices, historical candles, positions, pending orders, and trading history. It is aimed at enabling natural-language trading and automation while keeping control and credentials on the user's machine.
