Memory Bank MCP runs a local MCP server and automatically creates and updates a structured memory bank for projects. It tracks added, modified, and removed files, updates context on user prompts, and offers CLI and API tools for manual operations. The memory bank provides focused documents (e.g., activeContext, techContext, projectbrief) so AI agents have consistent, project-specific context for reasoning and responses.
