Description

MCPBI is a Model Context Protocol server that connects to local Power BI Desktop instances to allow clients to execute DAX queries, retrieve metadata, and assist with debugging and analysis of tabular models. It supports various tools for model discovery, DAX function exploration, query validation, and performance analysis, enhancing productivity and accuracy when working with Power BI models. The server supports configurable obfuscation and output truncation to protect sensitive data and manage response sizes.
